World Traveller

As many know, I've been all around the world this summer. I've been on 14 flights, stepped foot in 6 different countries (some more than twice), visited 4 continents (one of them being new) and this all happened within the last two months. Having only been home for 4 days, I've finally settled back into reality and when revisiting all the photos that have been documented from this summer, I can only say I've been absolutely spoilt rotten to experience even more of the world then I already have.

Zurich, Switzerland (14th - 24th June):

Switzerland consisted of my best friends graduation and catching up with friends who I haven't seen since living in India. Getting drunk at 1:20 in the afternoon and playing drinking games wherever we can get alcohol. Visiting the lake to "tan" only to be running in and out of the lake due to it's freezing temperature, living in pj's for 2 of the 10 days I was there. Going for "walks" for a cheeky strawberry (hahaha) and causing havoc wherever possible, this was by far the most entertaining week of my life. Imprinting new phrases into our everyday speech "i'm never eating again", it was as if none of us ever left. These 10 days were amazing and really damaged my liver.

Sotogrande, Spain (24 June - 1st August):
Spent absolutely ages in Spain (home) with Manouschak, and all we basically did was drink, go out, see my limited number of friends and sleep. Along with visiting a wolf park, visiting Gibraltar for shopping days and going for lunches and dinners around and about (as well as celebrating my 18th!!) we had a lovely time, but as it came to an end, our excitement couldn't be held in any longer.. as soon we'd be heading to New York.

New York, New York (2nd - 7th August)
New York was such an out of body experience. I've never stood foot in America before, so after waiting in 3 different lines for what felt like (and actually was) hours to get through immigration, collect out bags and catch a taxi, I was finally on my way to Soho to stay with Schake and begin our highly anticipated holiday. Seeing where the Twin Towers once stood, the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and all the other touristy stuff along with catching a train down to Connecticut to see Rosie (for the first time in 3 years) as well as going on the sub way and doing way too much shopping, the whole entire experience was beyond expectation and I would recommend anyone to go.

Nassau, The Bahamas (7th - 21st August)

Clear blue sea, white sand, and ridiculously beautiful weather, I can't even begin to explain to you how beautiful The Bahamas is. Not only did I get an amazing tan, I played way too much Uno, drove around in the golf cart every single day and went out in Atlantis hotel. It was the best way to end my summer with Manouschak, but my travelling wasn't done yet.

Sharm El Shiekh, Egypt (22nd - 31 August)
After having travelled on my own for a long period of time, my mother decided it was time for a family holiday, so we jumped on a plane and headed to Sharm El Shiekh where not only could I top up my tan, I got to drive dune buggies (almost killing my little brother), ride a camel (where i literally almost falled), and got to snorkel is the Red Sea. Despite the sun setting at 6pm every night and having to be kicked out of the pool along with the really shit alcohol served, it was such a nice holiday to let my hair down (or keep it tied up the whole week) and relax.

As if I have travelled enough as it is, I intend on visiting my Dad in Moscow in the near future as well as a holiday to Australia with Manouschak (whenever we have the money) as well as going to other places in Europe and across the world. I've been spoilt with the gift of travel, and now I just cannot stop.
